Community Inclusion
It’s important that people with a disability participate in everyday community life, build relationships, and feel connected and included in society. If you are an NDIS participant, community inclusion supports should relate to the goals in your NDIS plan, such as making friends, becoming more independent, learning new skills, or participating more in your local community.
We love to move!
Staying active and maintaining good health is important for everyone. Regular physical activity can improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall wellbeing, while also supporting mental health, confidence, and independence.
We offer a wide range of activities to help you reach your fitness goals, including group activities and individual support options.
At the heart of a healthy lifestyle is finding activities that are safe and enjoyable. Staying fit can help reduce the risk of chronic health conditions, increase social connection, and promote greater participation in everyday life.
BestLife Support Program
Interchange Illawarra's BestLife Support Program offers exciting, capacity-building activities every weekday, starting from the Wallis Centre in Wollongong.
Each day has its own unique focus, giving participants the flexibility to choose the activities that interest them most: Active Monday, Life Skills Tuesday, Outdoor Wednesday, Leisure Thursday and Creative Friday. Join us for one day or many!
