Interchange Illawarra is a not-for-profit organisation which actively provides leadership, advocacy and valued services to people with disabilities and their families.
We’ve been in operation for over 45 years and we’re proud of our friendly, fun, supportive work culture. We offer individual support, social support groups, daily assistance living, short term accommodation and weekends away for people with disabilities.
The Interchange Illawarra workforce include Support Workers, office based and management roles.

Working with Interchange Illawarra
We welcome resumes from individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
Our Support Workers have the flexibility to pick the hours and days that suit them so it’s easy to work around other commitments, like study or family.
We provide upskilling opportunities through our free training programs and we have a friendly administration team to support you.
We also offer salary packaging (eligibility requirements apply) that ultimately reduces the amount of tax you pay.

Essential Requirements
Excellent communication skills, proactive approach and ability to focus on achieving outcomes for people with disability
Current driver’s licence with registered, fully insured vehicle
Smart phone
Current CPR & First Aid certificate
Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)
