BestLife Support Program
Interchange Illawarra’s BestLife Support Program runs each week day starting at the Wallis Centre in Wollongong. The days are sorted by activity. Active Monday, Life Skills Tuesday, Outdoor Wednesday, Leisure Thursday and Creative Friday. You can choose one day or many!
BestLife Active Monday
Active Monday is one of the most popular days in Interchange’s BestLife Support Program. Participants enjoy a wide range of activities designed to support health, wellbeing and social connection, including Zumba with Terri, line dancing with Karissa, yoga, boxing with Vito, outdoor fitness sessions and scenic walks along the ocean.
The group comes together for a healthy lunch before the afternoon program, which focuses on gentle stretching, relaxation and wellness-based activities. It's the perfect way to start the week feeling active, connected and energised.
BestLife Creative Fridays
Creative Friday is a highlight of Interchange’s BestLife Support Program, giving participants the opportunity to explore their creativity, learn new skills and express themselves through art and craft.
Led by Jodie from The Eclectic Bower, the group has created an impressive range of projects, including floristry arrangements, beadwork, painting, t-shirt bags, and festive Easter and Christmas crafts. Participants have even transformed recycled materials into stunning table decorations for Interchange’s End of Year celebration.
Creative Friday encourages creativity, confidence and connection, while providing a fun and supportive environment where everyone can take pride in their creations.
